External single bay 3.5" hdd enclosure FireWire 400/usb 2.0

Description

External single bay 3.5" hdd enclosure FireWire 400/usb 2.0.  This is a single bay hdd enclosure that accepts 3.5" hard disks mounted on trays. Each tray has some interface electronics, mechanical latch, and power and activity leds.  I have 3 trays, 2 for SATA and one for PATA.  Trays are somewhat heavy duty feeling and include 4 screws each to firmly mount the drive to the tray.  There are also 4 keys (all 4 the same) that lock the latches so the drives cannot be removed.  External power supply provides +5 and +12 to the enclosure.
I used this as a holder for Time Machine back up drives.  I can tell you that the trays will fit in a small bank safe deposit box. I kept one at the bank and the other connected to my computer.  Every so often I would switch the trays.
This enclosure has no fans but is heavy metal with lots of conduction to the outside surfaces.
The enclosure supports FireWire 400 and USB 2.  I used the USB port and never tested the FireWire. I have had it for quite some time and it worked well with 1TB drives.  When one of the drives failed, I tried to upgrade to a 4 TB drive and the enclosure could only see it as as a 2 TB drive (and the format failed).  So I can say it works with up to 1TB SATA, and probably 2 TB SATA, but the latter is just a guess.
I used the PATA tray to hold a smaller bootable drive in case I ever needed it.
There is no name or brand anywhere on the outside.
