Backed by our industry proven hardware RAID technology, and featuring four removable, hot-swap drive bays, the RocketStor 6314B supports up to 4 SAS/SATA hard drives or SSD's and up to 56TB of storage configured into one or more RAID arrays. The compact enclosure's robust Thunderbolt™ connectivity supports sustained transfer speeds exceeding 1,300MB/s, and is ideal for small form-factor desktops or workstations, and portable computing platforms.

Each retail kit includes our TB3-LADP-TB2 adapter, which enables the RocketStor 6314B to be easily connected to any PC or Mac platform with a Thunderbolt™ 3 USB-C port. The adapter ensures a fully seamless connection between the enclosure and host system, and does so without impacting the transfer bandwidth or disabling the daisy-chain capability.
Hardware RAID Architecture
The RocketStor 6314B is ideal for RAID 5 / 6 SATA and SAS Storage Applications that require Maximum Sustained RAID of 5/6 Performance. Robust, Built-In Hardware RAID: Dedicated hardware RAID 5/6 Engines with 512MB of DDR3 onboard cache allow the RocketStor 6314B to work independently and minimize the RAID operation's impact on the host system or system loads impact storage performance. DV Mode Technology intelligently manages the flow of large data blocks and write-back caching to minimize latency and ensure consistent, sustained high-performance transfers for media-rich applications.
Uncompromised Storage Availability and Accessibility
The RocketStor 6314B has integrated a series of preemptive security measures to maximize Storage uptime whenever data is needed. Redundant RAID 5 and 6 protection shields storage configurations from 1 or 2 disk failures, respectively. The RocketStor Storage Health Inspector (SHI) proactively maintains the health of arrays by examining each drive for failed sectors & Dynamically Repair/Remap on the fly to keep storage ready & able.
Robust RAID Recovery
HighPoint Hardware RAID solutions feature built-in NVRAM, which constantly tracks in-progress writes to preserve the integrity of data in the event of a drive failure or system crash, and streamline recovery procedures while minimizing downtime. Administrators can initialize or schedule RAID verification sessions that check each disk member of an array for parity consistency. If any parity related problems are found, the interface will immediately rebuild the array to ensure the integrity of your data.
Open-Box Storage Solution
The RocketStor 6314B features an "open-box" approach to storage, which grants customers the freedom to use their choice of SAS or SATA drive from all major drive brands including HGST, Seagate, Toshiba and WDC. Customers can add drives as needed to meet the evolving performance or capacity requirements of the storage application.
The four removable hot-swap bays support any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA / SAS Hard Drive or SSD, and up to 56TB of total storage capacity. Enterprise / NAS class drives are recommended for the RocketStor 6314B; customers can tailor storage configurations to meet each application's performance and budget requirements.
