Madame Alexander “Venice” 21” Cissy
This Madame Alexander doll and her accessories were acquired from the Estate Sale of an avid doll collector.
The collector had many high-end dolls, mostly Madame Alexander.
The large collection had many limited-edition dolls and many dolls were obtained from MADC Conventions that were held all over the US.
This is a unique, RARE, hard to find (HTF) beautiful 75
th
anniversary Madame Alexander Cissy “VENICE” Doll.
She was introduced in 1998 and retired in January of 2000 with a limited edition of 1500.
Included is the very rare papier-mache jeweled and feathered turquoise Elephant Head (has a couple of small scratches on the bottom), the beautiful rose lined blue ruffled satin cape, the gold toned hair prong-set with dangling clear rhinestones, the gold beaded green feather fan, the 75
th
anniversary bracelet and her original MA tag.
Her outfit is comprised of a lovely multi-colored (burgundy, rose, peach) chiffon gown with gold trim and jeweled accents.  She has brocade slacks, gold formal length gloves and gold shoes.  Her jewelry includes dangling earrings, cuff bracelets, a choker necklace, and arm jewelry.
The only packaging that came with this doll is a “soft” box which shows its wear (see photos).  I will create a shipping container that will securely hold the doll and accessories.  The Elephant Head weighs close to 1 pound.
This is an as/is sale.  No doll stand is included.  She is used but is nearly perfect from what I see. She could need restrung in the future.  Her hair could use recombed.  The small stand used to hold the Elephant Head is not included, but could be easily made.
