Madame Alexander 21" SELF PORTRAIT Doll #2290 Pink Gown w/ Box & Tags -Beautiful.

Condition is listed as "used" because the box was opened and the various plastic bags/wrappings on her were removed. The doll was owned by an adult collector and was never displayed or "played with".
This listing is for a 21" Madame Alexander Self Portrait Doll #2290 with original box and wrist tag. This doll was was released between 1985 - 1987 and was then discontinued. The doll has "sleepy eyes" that open and close and jointed knees. The doll comes with her complete outfit, including all her jewelry, drape/shawl, purse, petticoat, stockings, and shoes.
This doll is beautiful in person, the pictures do not show how pretty she really is. The doll has intricate details in so many places, from her painted fingernails, blue eye shadow, detailed jewelry, lovely hair style, details on her drape/shawl even on her petticoat.
There is one small mark on her dress that is underneath the drape/shawl on the right side (see close up picture of material). This is only visible if you were to look under or remove the drape/shawl.
The doll comes with her original box, including the two cardboard neck supports/shipping inserts. The original pink tissue paper is in the box as well, but there are a couple tears in some of the pink tissue paper. The doll box has some shelf wear. The top of the box has tape down the opening from where the box was taped closed for many years and stored in a closet (see picture). Comes from a house with AC/Heat and was always stored inside.
