Hildegard Gunzel designed this set to commemorate her third anniversary with Alexander Doll Company. Harmony is a 28" porcelain doll with a beautiful hand-painted, smiling face. She wears a white batiste cotton pinafore dress and yellow underskirt. Harmony is decorated with 100% human hair and German hand-blown glass eyes.
Featured with Harmony is Cherub. The original "Little Genius" first presented by the Alexander Doll Company in the 1950s, Cherub, an all-vinyl doll, is in a coordinatign gold two-piece outfit trimmed in lace and pique. Together, Harmony and Cherub are a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.
This particular set is number 34 of a limited edition of 1,500. Harmony and Cherub come with a Certificate of Authenticity as well as a 1993 Hildegard Gunzel Collection catalog from her collaboration with Alexander Doll Company. Manufacturer's Suggested retail is 9.95.
