The versatile SDOCKU33EBV UASP-enabled USB 3.0 / eSATA docking station makes it easy for you to connect and swap 2.5in or 3.5in SATA III hard drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD), with the option to connect through either USB or eSATA. For convenient compatibility and time-saving performance, the SDOCKU33EBV docking station can be connected through USB 3.0, with support for full USB 3.0 bandwidth (5 Gbps) as well as UASP, which delivers performance up to 70% faster than conventional USB 3.0 when paired with a UASP-enabled host controller. For fast performance and efficient data transfers, the dock also supports the full SATA III bandwidth of 6 Gbps when connected through eSATA.

Extend the value of this hard drive docking station further with the addition of their SATA to IDE Hard Drive Adapter (SAT2IDEADP), allowing easy insertion of any 2.5 or 3.5in IDE hard drive into a SATA hard drive dock.

Improved Performance with UASP
UASP is supported in Windows 8, Mac OSX (10.8 or above) and Linux. In testing, UASP performs with a 70% faster read speed and 40% faster write speed over traditional USB 3.0 at peak performance. At the same peak in testing UASP also shows an 80% reduction in required processor resources. Testing results were obtained using an Intel Ivy Bridge system, a UASP-enabled StarTech Enclosure and a SATA III solid state drive.

Items with "free shipping" are only shipped free to the 48 contiguous United States.

Returns
For the first 30 days from date of receipt of your purchase you may return the merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges (for items which we offer free shipping, our standard shipping charges will be deducted from any refund or credit).
Returned or exchanged products must be in brand-new, mint condition. Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and the blank warranty cards. Memory cards and any other Blister Pack items are not returnable once opened. Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within an additional shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package.
Printers are not returnable once the Toner Cartridges have been installed or released.
Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets & Notebooks are not returnable once they have passwords or other software installed, have been registered with or returned to the manufacturer for any reason.
