Vintage Antique Hand/Machine Basket Quilt TOP Turkey Red muslin scrap 80x84

Talk about a graphic statement, this gorgeous quilt top makes one for sure!  From a wonderful midwestern estate, this top has hand and machine piecing make-up.  The quilt top is clean and feels pretty "crisp" so I don't believe it has been washed.  However, there are a couple of items I need to point out.  It does have some of those darn rust stains that I have tried to photograph. It is shown on a queen size bed and has no pet, cigarette or other smells or exposures. Even with these stains this large, 80 x 84 inch OLD quilt top would be the starting place for a fantastic heirloom. Would love to know more of the story behind where it came from.
