Vintage Unfinished Quilt top. Gorgeous Blue and white, all hand appliqued. High quality quilting fabrics throughout.
This is from my mother's estate. She was a master quilter and craftsman with a needle. The applique on this is so fine you can't see it from the front. Every piece had the thread colormatched, to make sure it didn't show. (See pictures). This quilt is 84" x 84".
There is some yellowing on the edges here and there from being stored in a box for years. Mom made hundreds of quilts, but this one didn't get out to be shown and loved. If you choose to purchase this one, PLEASE add the batting and backing, finish it, and put it out to be seen. It's stunning work and deserves to be out in the world.
